It woul depend on your insurance coverage.
I would like to discuss with your doctor.
Usually the doctor's office / company personnel is good enough to do the things, as if do not get coverage for the procedure (or similarly approved) in your health plan.

Perhaps if you are a dermatologist, who say that insurance is a little different ... something that is not covered.

Very unlikely. This depends on the insurance you have. You have to take with them.
